China accuses US of threatening national cybersecurity

Beijing, Sep 11 (Prensa Latina) China on Sunday accused the US government of endangering its cybersecurity after an attack launched on the email system of the Xi’an Polytechnic University.

Yang Tao, director-General of the Foreign Ministry’s North America and Oceania Department, said Washington’s actions threatened both technical secrets of the country’s institutions as well as infrastructure and personal information.
