Turkey’s beleaguered Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP) have emerged victorious from this week's local elections. Still, the AKP's triumph is unlikely to restore internal stability, much less revive Turkey's tarnished international standing.
