NEW Zealand Prime Minister John Key announced yesterday that multiple-entry visitor visas for Chinese tourists will be extended from 12 months to 24 months from next month.
Chinese travelers already form the second largest group of visitors to New Zealand.
Key was speaking at a forum themed "celebrating the future" in Shanghai, aimed at pushing forward cooperation between New Zealand and China.
A memorandum of understanding was signed at the forum to establish an early childhood education center in Wuxi, in Jiangsu Province.
New Zealand companies producing honey, lamb and healthcare products announced at the forum that they will be making forays into the Chinese market soon.

And New Zealand logistics firm Mainfreight said it will make the Asian market, especially China, a priority in its future development.
